Focus areas of my teaching

Music is far more than technique or theory – it is a space of discovery, reflection, and the expression of inner worlds.

Each person brings their own experiences and sound imagination. Whether you’re seeking foundational skills or wish to deepen your own musical voice – I support you individually on your path.

I help you build a solid technical foundation, discover new perspectives, cultivate artistic depth, and develop the courage to walk your own way.

My focus lies in connecting Western musical traditions – such as European harmony and jazz – with non-Western systems, including North Indian classical music and the modal structures of Turkish and Arabic music (Maqam).

Improvisation, composition, analytical thinking, and the search for personal expression
form the central axes of my work.

Many of the insights I gained through intercultural studies – and now share in my teaching – are rarely taught, even at renowned music universities.
